AAW successfully delivered a 153-tonne power transformer and associated accessories from Fremantle Port to Collie BESS, 200km south of Fremantle.

This complex operation required meticulous planning and execution due to the sheer size and weight of the cargo. The team overcame significant challenges, including heavy-lift handling, specialised transport equipment, and navigating restricted routes under strict permit conditions.

Upon arrival, the transformer was installed using a precision Jack & Skate system, ensuring safe positioning and operational readiness. By implementing robust safety measures and coordinating with multiple stakeholders, AAW ensured the transformer arrived safely, on time, and ready for installation, reinforcing our capability in managing large-scale, high-risk logistics projects.
